Privacy Policy

TradeBalancer does not collect personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter and no forms that send anything to us. The site sets no cookies and shows no ads. The one measurement tool is Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free page view counter described below. Pages are pre-built files. A shared trade page and its preview image are rendered on Cloudflare's network from the same published data. We keep no server logs of our own.

The trade analyzer, search boxes, filters and sort controls all run inside your browser. The players and picks you enter stay on your device. Nothing you type is sent to us.

The Copy buttons write text to your clipboard through your browser's own clipboard feature. That happens locally, and we never see what you copied. The site does not use local storage, so nothing is remembered between visits.

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. When your browser asks for a page, Cloudflare's network answers, as any web host would. In doing so Cloudflare processes standard technical data: your IP address, browser user agent, the URL you requested and the time of the request. Cloudflare may also ask your browser to report network errors back to it. That data is handled under the Cloudflare privacy policy. We add no logging of our own on top of it.

As Cloudflare serves each page it adds one small script of its own, Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures how fast pages load. For each view it sends Cloudflare the page address, the referring page, your browser, operating system and device type and the page load timings, and Cloudflare adds the country the request came from. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage and, according to Cloudflare, does not fingerprint visitors. We see only aggregate totals in Cloudflare's dashboard, never an individual visitor. The data is handled under the Cloudflare privacy policy linked above. If your browser blocks that script, the site works exactly the same without it.

If you create a share link for a trade, the trade itself is encoded in the link. Anyone who has the link can open it and see the same trade. A link holds only the identifiers of the players and picks on each side and the format you chose (1QB or Superflex). It holds no name, contact details or account, because the site has none of those. We do not keep a list of share links. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts how often each page address is opened, share links included, in the aggregate form described above.

The only information about people on this site is public information about NFL players: name, team, age and consensus rank, plus a trade value derived from that rank. It comes from the DynastyProcess data repository (GPL-3.0), which builds on FantasyPros expert consensus rankings.

Pages link out to DynastyProcess on GitHub, to Cloudflare and to a few other sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

The site has no ads today, and the only analytics is the Cloudflare Web Analytics described above. If that changes, or anything else described here changes, this page changes first. Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
